WiPath Communications is a developer &
manufacturer of innovative wireless data and
paging products that are marketed worldwide.
The product range includes wireless data
networking solutions consisting a range
of mobile data terminals, mobile data gateway
and job processing software. Selective
also manufactures paging data terminals
and receivers and has developed a range
of software solutions in dispatch, messaging,
message processing and job management.
WiPath was incorporated in 1993 as Selective
Communications primarily to provide pager servicing
in New Zealand.
Whilst pager servicing remains a significant
activity, the company has concentrated in
recent years on product development in the
paging and mobile data fields and now produces
a range of innovative hardware and software
solutions.
In 2000 an Australian company, i-Mobile P/L
was set up to represent Selective Communications
in Australia and now the two companies under
the WiPath banner are
Australasia's primary pager service and
repair group, carrying out in excess of 90%
of all pager repairs and servicing in New Zealand
and over 60% (and growing) in Australia.
A US office was setup in California in 2005
and handles distribution and sales for North
America.
The service divisions specialise in servicing
the requirements of paging network operators
and mobile communications dealers and large
paging users throughout Australia and New Zealand
and are fully equipped for servicing pocsag
and Flex paging equipment.
With our extensively equipped electronics facilities
we are also able to offer
contract servicing to importers and agents
of electronic equipment who do not have their
own service facilities.
